Along with the brisk weather slowly approaching our wardrobe seems to fade along with it.
To keep my wardrobe from looking dull and drab I will be wearing blue, Cobalt Blue!
The blue has a bit of a purple hue to it as well. It's different from navy and your everyday black.

Whether you pair it as abeautiful LCD (little cobalt dress),with jeans as a pop of color, or even as jeans for your color pants ! No matter how you wear it either way it's GORG! One of the new shows I have been watching Pan Am also inspired this color ( which may also be my Halloween costume this year ).  I always wonder if the inspiration for color came from their luxurious vacations. I think back to mine- this summer I was in Hawaii on the big island the water, a cobalt blue. ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this color. I own several pieces that are cobalt blue, and they all make such a statement. I definitely agree with you on it being a Fall 2012 color. It adds so much richness and boldness to an outfit. It's a color that can be easily worn casually or formally. I was really happy to see that someone chose this color! Great entry.
I love that you chose to report on Cobalt Blue being a key color for this season, it is one of my favorite colors to begin with, and I am also so excited about how recently popular it has become. I am glad that you mentioned designers such as Adam Lippes and Acne, which are just some of my favorites. I also have never heard the the term "LCD" but I think that is so creative.
